Midhat Syed has co-managed Skagen’s five funds of funds, the Select series, since they were launched in 2017. She is also responsible for recommending funds on Skagen’s external fund platform, advising on asset allocation and helping develop model portfolios for clients. She has 15 years’ experience in investment management, spanning security analysis, risk management, business development and asset allocation. Prior to joining Skagen, she was an analyst at Gulf International Bank (UK). She has also been a volunteer with the CFA Institute for the past seven years. Midhat is a CFA and CIPM charterholder, has a degree in economics, econometrics and finance, and a master’s degree in economics and finance.
